With almost 11 meters, the Abel Tasman is a spacious and cozy ship for 4 guests.

This ship is characterized by her large and closed cockpit, where there is plenty of room to sit together. Inside you will find a lot of rounded high gloss finished wood, creating a cozy feel. Boarding is easy through the closed cockpit and the 2 separate bedrooms provide (for example) private space for children and parents.

The Abel Tasman has a large, closed cockpit where you can watch the skipper while sailing. There is a steering position both inside and outside, so steering is also possible in the open air on the upper deck while enjoying the sun.

Furthermore, the boat is equipped with all kinds of conveniences:

  • Swim ladder: cool down and easy to get back on board

  • Solar panels: environmentally conscious and self-supporting for a carefree holiday

  • Nautical charts: all major charts and almanac 1/2 available

  • Power: various 220V and USB-sockets (e.g. for charging phones)

The yard-built vlet (v.d. Zee at Zwartewaal) was first launched in 1986.
The intimacy with lots of spars complemented by brass details makes the ship a joy to behold; a marked difference from a polyester white ship.
